Week in a Peek Sept. 15, 2014

Our Class Goal for Counting Coins
Everyone should be comfortable counting mixed combinations of dimes, nickels, and pennies.  We should be able to count coins up to $1.00.  Please practice at home with real coins. Do not use the quarter in your mix of coins yet.  When counting, begin with the largest value first.  For example count the dimes first, add on nickels next, then pennies last.

           Red or Blue Decodable Books
Our little decodable books 1 and 2 are off to a great start.  Our GOAL for the word lists in the back of the book, is to be read with 100% accuracy.

     Enoch Tigers are Grrrrreat!

Welcome 2014-15 School Year!

Welcome to the 2014-15 School Year!

Hello,  I am Mrs. Jenson, a second grade teacher here at Enoch Elementary.   There's nothing like a room full of children ready and eager to learn!

This year Mr. Ekker, our Principal, invited all of the students to help him in creating another great school motto.

It HAD to be just right.  Many great, creative ideas streamed in!  And it's no wonder, because Enoch Elementary has the best students in the world.

Our new motto is perfect.  It reminds us each morning of who we are and what we can accomplish.

WE ARE SMART, RESPECTFUL, AND SUCCESSFUL

                                         WE ARE THE ENOCH TIGERS

                                                        NO EXCUSES!
